Focus on Corn

Beth – As far as I’m concerned, there is only one time of year to eat corn and it is in the middle of summer. I always look for the ears with smaller kernels with the hopes of it being sweet and juicy. Some summers I love the white corn and others the mixed- yellow and white. It just depends on the supplier, when it was picked and how fast I can get it into boiling water.

AJ - Nothing says summer like corn. I always start the season off by just steaming or grilling corn on the cob. I like mine just as it is but always have fresh herb butter and sea salt on hand for guests.  As the season progresses I become more creative with it ….. inspired by the bounty of the farmers’ markets.
